Event Description
Don your tartan for the 'Best Legs in a Kilt' contest, an annual bawdy Bethlehem tradition, on Saturday, March 11, at 11AM outside of Donegal Square. Show off your best-kilted leg and woo the panel of judges to win the title of 'Best Legs', along with a new kilt from Donegal Square, the event sponsor.
First through third places awarded, along with honorable mentions. First place winner receives the title of 'Best Legs', and an 8-yard polyviscose kilt from Donegal Square, valued at $149.
The 'Best Legs in a Kilt' contest takes place before the 6th Annual Celtic Classic 'Parade of Shamrocks' in Bethlehem, PA. For more information about the parade, visit celticfest.org
* In case of foul weather, the 'Best Legs in a Kilt' Contest will be held inside Donegal Square/McCarthy's.
By completing your registration, you are agreeing to Donegal Square's/McCarthy's Red Stag Pub's Photo and Participant Release form, so that photos of the event can be used for future marketing purposes.
Event and Photo Release:
In consideration of the opportunity to participate and/or attend the 'Best Legs in a Kilt' Competition conducted by Donegal Square and McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar (hereafter McCarthy’s RSP), I do hereby release, hold harmless and forever discharge and agree not to sue Donegal Square and McCarthy's RSP or any of the above-mentioned trustees, officers, agents, and employees (collectively “Hosts”), from any and all claims, responsibilities or liabilities for injury or damages resulting from or arising out of my attendance at, or participation in the 'Best Legs in a Kilt' Competition, whether or not caused by the ordinary negligence of the Hosts. I have read the foregoing and hereby agree to be bound by it.
PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE:
_________________________________________________ (the “Participant”), for good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is acknowledged, hereby grants to Donegal Square and McCarthy's RSP (“Company”), its legal representatives, assignees, and those acting under its authority, the unrestricted right and permission to copyright and/or use, and/or publish photographic portraits or pictures of the Participant (the "Pictures"), and the negatives, transparencies, prints, or digital information pertaining to them, in still, single, multiple, moving or video format, or in which Participant may be included in whole or in part, or composite, or distorted in form, or reproductions thereof, in color or otherwise, in any media for advertising or any other lawful purpose.
Participant hereby relinquishes any right that he/she may have to examine or approve the finished product or products or theadvertising copy or printed matter that may be used in connection with an image that Company has taken of the Participant, or the use to which it may be applied. Participant waives any ownership and publication right he/she might be entitled of in connection with the Pictures, with the exception of the personal use of the Pictures as part of personal modeling portfolio. Participant agrees he/she has no right to sell, license or publish any of the Pictures to any person or entity.
Participant further releases Company its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, servants, or employees (“Releasees”) from any claims for remuneration associated with any form of damage, foreseen or unforeseen, associated with the proper commercial or artistic use of these images unless it can be shown that said reproduction was maliciously caused, produced and published for the sole purpose of subjecting the Participant to conspicuous ridicule, scandal, reproach, scorn and indignity. Participant also waives any and all claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, that may be sustained by Participant, or any of the property belonging to Participant, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees, or otherwise, while performing the event session, or while in, on or upon the premises where the event session was occuring.
It is the express intent of Participant that this document shall bind all members of Participant’s family, heirs, assignees and personal representatives.
